Obervaitions and studies of the human form. I wanted to focus more on portraiture and close-ups to try and capture as much detail as possible.

Watercolour Observation

The above observation is of fashion model Winnie Harlow. I chose this as I thought it would be interesting to draw and paint as she has vitiligo. I think that This outcome was successful as I feel that I was able to capture the details.

Artist Developments

Inspired by artist Ana Theresa Barboza I tried to incorporate hand embroidery and knitting on the left to create interest and make it tactile like Barboza's style. I did the same on the right but I used thread as opposed to knitting to create movement within the piece.
